All Occassions cards

As my plant has Inventory today, our 3rd shift got cancelled from working last night, so I’ve ha some time for listing a few new items on Listia. Now these are cards I have created a few months ago but did not have a chance of listing in my Etsy shop – yet…lol

Now, Listia can be lots of fun: you can give away items you no longer need or want in exchange for credits that you can then use to get something you see, want or need… Lots of fun, bidding on those auctions, let me tell ya! Last I’ve got was a FREE digital scale tha I will e using in my craft room to weigh packages in order to create shipping labels…

I will go now make some fresh coffee, list another set of these cards in my Etsy shop, then get busy making my own laundry detergent, for my work clothes. They get so “grubby” that I usually wash them twice – just to get that oily smell off of them – and let me tell you, it can get expensive buying all that laundry detergent. So, when I have found a relatively easy DIY laundry detergent recipe, I have decided to use it for my work clothes.

I think I will enjoy the rest of my day off, because tonight back to work I go!

All y’all be good now 🙂

CR84FN30 – Color Challenge

CR84FN30 Color Challenge

This week’s challenge on CR84FN was to use the Main colors of light blue, light yellow and kraft provided by the suggested graphic.

My card started with a lovely piece of lace i bought a few months ago from Melissa Frances. The lace was bright white and, in order to make it work with the color requirements, I decided to “antique” it, by placing it in a small ziploc baggie with a drop of Tim Holtz’s Distress Inks in Old Paper and Antique Lines and a few sprays of water, diluted until the color was what I was aiming for. Cardbase is kraft and a panel from K & Company‘s Life’s Journey pad was cut and edges distressed with Distress inks. I punched three strips of pattern paper in a bluish script paper and a dotted weathered yellow and layered them on the printed panel. The died antique lace was gathered and glue behind the hand stamped sentiment panel (Eternity from Our Daily Bread Designs) and #D foam dots were used to add it to the card. Self-adhesive pearls were added around the sentiment panel.

Supplies used are as indicated: Stamp set/Die Eternity (Our Daily Bread Designs & Spellbinders); Cardstock Crumb Cake #120953, Whisper White #100730(Stampin’ Up), Designer paper Butterfly Garden (PinkPaislee), 5th Avenue (Melissa Frances), Life’s Journey (K & Company); Ink Old Olive #102277 (Stampin’ Up); Punch Martha Stewart; Lace (Melissa Frances); Pearls self-adhesive (Mark Richards); 3D foam dots; mini glue dots; Distress Ink Old Paper & Antique Lines (Ranger/Tim Holtz)

Happy Birthday ButterflyHappy Birthday Butterfly

Created with two-tone shimmer paper, this card presents layers and layers of die cuts, glued on top of each other to create an interesting pyramid effect. Delicate yellow, cream and orange work beautifully together to create an unbelievable effect! The chain and butterfly stickers added to the side of the card enhance the layered sentiment.

The card’s size is 4.5in by 6in, and comes with a white envelope. The card is blank inside, allowing ample space for you to add your own words.
